WOW. This was my first traffic ticket, I was scared didn't know what to do. I was told my insurance would up. Points would be added to my license. I was scared, but McElwee Law Firm turned my scariness into happiness. A small fee considering what I could have had payed, and I was on my way. Signed Soo happy.

So so helpful! They were able to take care of a speeding ticket in Boone by reducing the charge to improper equipment. I will not get points on my license or increased insurance, and they were very affordable! I will say it took awhile to get a response sometimes, but we were communicating mostly through text so I understand the delay. Overall I am satisfied and would hire again if needed!

I had an awful accident in Avery County. I ,totalled my car and was ticketed and fined. I didn't know where to turn. Mr McElwee was one of the most reasonably priced attorneys but more importantly he called me and let me know he could take care of all the things needed to resolve the matter. which relieved a lot of anxiety during the process. The case took more than one court hearing and 4 months but his one fee stayed the same, And the day before the 2nd court date , I got the email saying all charges and fines were dismissed. It was like the being restored - I am so grateful for their work and kindness.
